Biodiversity and our relationship with plants are the starting points for many of my works, for which I am interested in combining tools of design with the knowledge of different experts working with plants, such as biologists, engineers, food scientists, artists and entrepreneurs.
Since 2024 I am the director of I+A Materiales (Ideas and Applications for Materials) at Mater, the research center of Central (World’s No. 1 Best Restaurant 2023), Kjolle and MIL. Through traditional craft and new materials, I develop objects and spaces that contribute to the restaurants’ eco-system-based focus.
Currently based between Lausanne, Switzerland and Lima, Peru, my practice combines a background in academia and product design.
Recipient of Pro Helvetia support formats: Swiss Design Accelerator (San Francisco, 2022), Emerging Talents at the House of Switzerland (Milan Design Week, 2023), Circular Design Matchmaking Event (La Tour-de-Peilz, 2023), Design Work Grant for Concept Development (2023), Design Retreat (Riehen, 2024), Seoul Matchmaking Program (Seoul, 2024).
